Does anyone know if you can still mail packages to the resorts and pick them up upon arrival?? We are checking into the Contemporary on February 21st so I would need to mail my package later this week. I remember seeing somewhere that you can no longer do this (after 9/11) and was wondering if anyone had done it recently.

I seem to remember folks still doing this, though the resorts have started charging a handling fee based on he weight of the package. I would give them a call and ask directly if you are concerned.

I just wanted to let everyone know, I called the resort last night and they do still allow guests to mail packages in advance. The very nice CM that I spoke with said to be sure you put "Hold for guest name" and "date of arrival" on the package. She did not mention there being a charge for this service - and I did not ask.

Good information, Pocahantas, thanks! I know a lot of people have really enjoyed this convenience.

As of Dec 03 there was no fee for doing this. I've done this for the past three years and have never been charged. However, a nice tip for bell services is not inappropriate.

Maybe the fee depends on the resort for I know someone who just got charged. $5 , I think is what they were charged.

The charge I heard of was after the beginning of the year, so maybe that is case for all the resorts effective Jan 2004? Or it could be the fee depends on the resort? And they did say they were charged by the weight.
