We've been working on this for a bit, and have now opened a new Zazzle store where we'll be selling our Tagalong items. You can go to our store and make sure the site gets full credit by linking or typing in http://zazzle.com/Tagrel* (Make sure the '*' is at the end or we don't get full credit... sneaky, aren't they!) But still, its pretty easy to remember! :)

<center><embed wmode="transparent" src="http://www.zazzle.com/assets/swf/zp/zp.swf?zp=117359282865202894" flashvars="feedId=117359282865202894&path=http://www.zazzle.com/assets/swf/zp/skins" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="300" width="450"></center>

First up are a few shirts as well as a hat, mug and mousepad. Zazzle sells LOTS of things, so if you want something else with Tagalong blazed across it - let us know! :peri: I can most likely add it to the store!

Shirts look best in white right now, since printing on color shirts has the nasty side affect of coloring Tagalong the color of the shirt. So if you WANT a pink or green Tagalong - then select that color shirt! If not, stick with white!

I'll look into what I need to do to add a 'dark shirt' version. Currently, there is not one available in our store.

Zazzle lets you make LOTS of modifications from different shirt styles and materials to colors, sizes even which type of coffee mug you want. So don't be afraid to look through the offerings to get exactly what you want! But be sure to read the size charts and check the preview image closely!

One shirt is currently titled "DO NOT BUY". This is good advice, as the graphic used is not the best quality and we're waiting for it to be removed by Zazzle.

Also - we have a special ToT 13K & 6.5K shirt. This is a special one for the Upcoming Tower of Terror 13K & 6.5K race in October!

Finally - HUGE thanks and kudos to our ever talented Frogman for his tireless work on Tagalong in all his various forms! Thanks Frogman!!! :yahoo: :youRock:

That would be the 'Sunburned Tagalong', and 'Beware the Shellfish Tagalong'.

WOOHOO! The store is open! :yahoo:

I ordered mine and it arrived in 5 days I believe. That included the day that it was ordered on. I was happy with the shirt's fit and print quality. I do suggest ordering a heavier shirt as the medium weight was actually lighter than I expected.

I can't wait to see Tagalong gear in the parks! It will make the Taginators easy to spot.

Slap the award on the mantel!

I love them

I wanted one for MagicMeets but it won't be here in Canada before I leave, so I'll make sure to have it for Mousefest

question: any chance of getting one with the small chest logo AND a large one on the back?

Thanks for all your hard work, I can't wait to wear one

Love the merchandise! I'll have to get the regular Tagrel version for Mousefest and the ToT one for race weekend. Now to decide if I want a regular t-shirt or the wicking singlet for the race. :wuv:

Thanks, Dave and Brian! :)

I ordered a shirt last night. If Frogman's experience holds true, I SHOULD get it for MagicMeets, but I'm not counting on it! ;) Too close to be a sure thing! Items are supposed to ship withing 24 hours, but I'm guessing that is only true M-F. We'll see!

Sure! Two things though:
I wasn't sure what would look good on the front... Would people like the same design, only smaller on front? JUST Tagalong on front with say Tagrel.com underneath? Just words on front like the ToT shirt?
Adding an image front and back increases the cost of the shirt about a $1.50. Just so you know!As I said - I'm open to product ideas, so ask away!

Chris

One of the nice things about Zazzle is that YOU pick the style shirt. So, if you want long sleeves, just step through the >250 styles! and pick what you want. It will preview the item you select.

There are basic sweatshirts under men's. Several different long sleeve styles under women's then there is also Kids and Babies. Unlike cafe press, I can upload ONE design and then the buyer gets to decide what style of shirt he/she wants it on.

Make sure to look through the styles to get exactly what you want!

Oh, and we will have both MouseFest and Marathons items available as those events get closer.

I went and did a quick check and want to order a shirt for ToT but not sure what yet. Some of the sport shirts are so small and I'm....well....not! Anyway, they only had size info for one of the women's sport shirts. I'll go back later and check again.

My suggestions are:

Women's golf visor - not the ones with the velcro back.
Wrist and headband gear for the road racers
Travel mugs
Naglene (?spelling?) bottles
Key chains
and some small, cheaper by the dozen, items like buttons or magnets for giveaways at meets

I need to update the design for some items - that is in work. Not everything looks best with the oval shape... :)

but as to a travel mug - that is in now. Just look at the mug and then choosed different styles. There is a travel mug available.

OK- I'm in trouble. They even have postage stamps... But they are pricey!

Right now there is a promotion until 7/31. Regular price is $18.99 for a sheet of 20 stamps. The promotion brings it down to $12.99 for a sheet of 20.

Have to wait for this one to be approved before it shows up in the store.

I'll post again when it is available. I think Tagalong looks good on a stamp! :peri:

Tagalong looks great on the Ladies Ringer T-Shirts. I am considering the red, black, light and dark blue. That would take care of 4 days of my wardrobe for December. Then maybe a nice Tagalong sweatshirt for when it's cold...Tagalong layers are a must. :D

Darn it, Tag beat me to answering. But I can still answer your question. I tried other shirts and colors and Tagalong's little body does change color. It was kinda fun to watch. It was like It's A Small World version of Tagalong.;)

Now we have a polo shirt style too! The choices are too much for me to handle. A button would be easier. It goes with everything!

Oh, I must have missed that travel mug! I will have to get all my possibilities listed out and then make some choices!

How about Tagalong socks, preferably non-cotton type for marathoning. Runners and walkers may use different height socks - I can't use the no show ones, as the walking gait is different than the running gait.

Polo shirt is good, I prefer them to the ringer type as they protect my neck from sunburn better.

I went to the site and was trying to figure out if you could get the small tagalong logo on the front upper left and then have our Tagrel signature put on the center back..... I can't quite figure out if this is a possibility. Anyone know?

I also tried to move a Disney image from the front to the back-as it mentioned you can, but couldn't get that to work... Anyone tried that?:?

Simba, the best way to get your Forum Tag on a shirt would be to make an iron-on out of it. I can give you the best artwork I have for yours if you want to do that.

No clue on shirt weight. All I can suggest is reading the site for a description unless someone has purchased one previously and has an opinion to share.

As to the mugs - the image is on both sides. The Left - Center - Right buttons are just letting you view the mug from different angles.

Looks like great products. Is there any way they can add personalized lines? Like perhaps have a user name below the Tag-a-long logo? That would be a cool addition too.

Currently, the answer is no. We do not allow for the Tagrel.com artwork to be used 'anyway' a shopper wishes to use it. While I'm sure people would enjoy being able to redesign shirts every which way, the opportunity for misuse is a bit too much for me to accept. Sorry.

How about Tagalong socks, preferably non-cotton type for marathoning. Runners and walkers may use different height socks - I can't use the no show ones, as the walking gait is different than the running gait.

Zazzle has no socks that I'm aware of. But if you find them on there let me know. They hid the Polo's, so they might be doing the same with other items as well.

Again - Images can not be moved around. The designs are static. Also - the signature artwork is not large enough to print well through Zazzle. Miss B's suggestion of an iron-on is definitely a better idea. And still, you will most likely need a larger image to get a good quality print.

Zazzle has rights from Build a Bear to do this. And I can't use copyrighted material in my site store. You can only use Build a Bear artwork the way THEY designate. Same with the Disney artwork. (or any of the special collections)

We would need original artwork of Tigernator to do this. Which isn't totally impossible, but not first on the priority list right now. But it definitely won't look like Build-a-bear if and when it happens. And we can't use anything from their store.

Hope that makes sense

Sorry - reading on the go and didn't understand.

I do not limit available sizes. Whatever sizes Zazzle has, should be included in the current store items. No clue what size would be needed for a build a bear... Maybe someone knows? When I have a chance I'll look to see if they have anything 'special' for the bears that I have access to. Haven't seen it so far...

Timon, find the design you want and then click the product closest to it. For example the Tagalong logo T-shirt. Then you get TONS of options on the right hand side. These include shirt colors, shirt sizes, etc. Also on that side is a long slider of shirt options. These include t-shirts with different fits and all the products Tagrel listed (and more).

Basically when you click on T-shirt you are picking the generic idea of a shirt. After that you can pick what style, weight, fit, and color the actual shirt is.

Hope that helps!

When I click on the link in your first post I'm only seeing 8 products; Tagalong Polo (http://www.zazzle.com/Tagrel/product/235703678654128790), Tagrel.com Tagalong Hat (http://www.zazzle.com/Tagrel/product/148067932007823253), Tagrel.com Tagalong MousePad (http://www.zazzle.com/Tagrel/product/144697958300753216), Tagrel.com Tagalong Mug (http://www.zazzle.com/Tagrel/product/168014679099833223), Tagrel.com Tagalong Tshirt (http://www.zazzle.com/Tagrel/product/235706298030140597), Tagrel.com Tagalong Tshirt (http://www.zazzle.com/Tagrel/product/235361241524175018), Tagrel.com ToT 13K & 6.5K (http://www.zazzle.com/Tagrel/product/235221106712213706), and Tagrel.com Tagalong Tshirt (http://www.zazzle.com/Tagrel/product/235952690536046199). What am I doing wrong that I'm not seeing the longsleeve tees, raglan, sweatshirts and micro fiber? Even when I click on view all products that's all I'm seeing.

Hey Mark!

Let me see if I can help. When you click in the first post of this thread it takes you to the 8 products page.
Then to get to all the options on the shirts - click the Tagalong T-shirt.
When it opens that page - to the right you should see "Pick your T-shirt options"

THen there is line with tabs - all, mens, womens, kids, baby

You can click on the mens tab and then pictures of different shirts come up

There are arrows the move the selections over - the sweat shirts are there, about 3 clicks on the right arrow.

You click on that then under that box you should see the different color options

Then the size options.

Clear as mud? ;)

Hope this helps Mark - if not please ask again

ETA: or what Brian said! :D

Yup, that cleared up my confusion. Now for a slightly more complicated question. Is it possible to get two designs on a shirt? What I'm thinking is a big Tagalong on the back and a pocket sized Disney character (perhaps a certain meerkat) on the front. I know Zazzle is authorized to use Disney characters. I'm sure this would cost more than the normal pricing, but depending on how much more, I'd be interested.

Good question Timon. While I know they have authorized use of Disney characters I am not sure we can attach them to shirts with our art as well. This is set up that way to prevent misuse of their characters. For example you can't use Mickey on the front then put your local sports team on the back, also it prevents you from using a Disney character and putting slander on the other side. That being said maybe it IS possible if you ask for approval, Dave would have to answer that. I just don't see it likely. :( It would make a great shirt though!

I really doubt that they would authorize the use of Disney characters with other artwork. Disney is picky like that and the royalties would be complicated.

I'd go the iron on route fo the back, Timon. You know that can bring good results :)

:tagalong: Caution on Tagalong Merchandise! :tagalong:

Both Cinderella and I have confirmed that the larger sized heavyweight men's tee shirts run BIG. Got my usual size for Disney shirts and not even shrinking it is going to make it fit me.

Frogman is correct. They are very protective of how the brand name images are used. No mixing things together like that. Wish you could though! :)

OK - I've added some new items to the store. These all use a circular design so I created Pins, Magnets, Keychains and Stickers.

You can select various sizes which is nice. Here are the pin designs as an example. I'm DEFINITELY wearing Pegalong at the Pirates and Princesses party next month! :pirate:

I'm sure that can be arranged in time. I know some of our runners wanted Runalong stuff... It may be a bit of time though. If there is a need for something 'soon' post here and let me know the specifics. As the race for my vacation continues to collide with work schedule, I'm finding I don't have much time for 'extra' activities at all!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new pins! (Not much of a person to wear a shirt with a logo, but a pin? DEFINITELY!)

Just love Tagalong in pirate mode.

Buttons and stickers are much better for me. No figuring out if the shirt goes with my pants. lol

Do you think it would be wrong to run around putting Tagalong stickers on everyone we see at WDW???????? ;)

You know, I THOUGHT about this before creating the stickers. Please don't go sticking them all over WDW!!! Site name is on there and I don't want it associated as a BAD thing! :peri:

Of course, on PEOPLE where they come off easily is probably OK - if they don't hit you!

I've heard stickers don't come off easily, and WDW custodian has to use a special cleaner to get them off. People should keep that in mind before putting them on anything that isn't theirs.

Love the stickers!

I think I should get some and put one on my son's shirt when he runs in our local community run next month! People would be curious I am sure !:mickey:

This will be my son's first run. I am hoping he enjoys it and may consider a Disney run later!

Hey.... I will also be working the meet and could wear one, too! What fun!

Would that be OK, Dave?

Is it my computer or the site? I went to check out the merchandise and only a couple of the pictures shows up. The rest were blank white squares.

Seems to be working fine for me under IE 6.0 and Firefox. Might be your computer or your browser. They use a lot of Javascript on Zazzle to pop things in and out...

Http/1.1 Service Unavailable error message is what I get when I click the link.

Is that something on my computer?

I'm getting that now. Maybe they are experiencing some server issues today. Probably been going up and down until they get things working.

lol, ok thanks. At least now I have the latest version of java, hehe That is probably a good thing, but JavaScript and Java are not the same thing. :) Its a huge plot by us geeks to take over the world! :peri: Keep 'em confused and beating on their computers! ;)

Anyway - the site appears to be working fine again now. Hopefully, it stays that way!
