The night before we left Jeffery and I left to spend the night at Brenden's house. They live 10 minutes from the airport so My sister in law got us at at four and to the airport by 5am. We grab breakfast at Mcdonalds and went though security and our flight left right on time at 6:20. We had a stop over in Pittsburgh and then it was on Orlando where we landed around noon time. The boys grabbed the luggage while I found L+M car rental. Was a little leary about using them because it was so cheap. $74.99 for the week for a subcompact. It was do not laugh please  a Daewoo 4 door . Needless to say I didn't live that one down from the boys.
Ok we make it out of the airport and I tell the boys we need to find a Publix to get snack and water. I get off the first exit that says international drive and don't ask me how I get us lost and we drive in circles but we do find a Pubix. Just a side note in the middle of the week I stop at a Walgreens and found them to be very reasonably priced so if you can't find a Publix go to Walgreens. We stopped at a Denny"s had lunch. Jeffrey and Brendon had the nachos and I had the salad thinking I gonna try to be good. Ya right! Asked directions to unversal and finally found our way there.
Check into the Hard Rock and the details of the hotel are in the checkin area where I did a review of them so I won't go into detail about that here. We went and check out our room changed into summer cloths and hit the studio side universal. We bought our tickets from the universal site which were the 5 day passes for $89. We had a blast. Did Terminator, Back to the Future with my eyes shut the first time around, MIB ,Twister, Jaws, and ET. Front of the line acess rules. The dirty looks we sometimes got from the other line didn't bother me a bit. We were getting tired since we were up at 4 am so we decided to leave and go to Margarittavilles for dinner. It was very crowded and long wait but we found a spot on the porch where they had a guy with a guitar singing and a woman on stilts making ballloons. We ordered mostly appitzers which were inion rings nachos and eggroll kind of thing that was spicy served with Quamole and sourcream. I had a really good Rasberry margarita. Yummmm
After dinner we headed back to the hotel thinking we could go to the pool but it started storming with lighting so the boys went down tothe lobby and listened to the band while I showered and relaxed. We were all in bed by 11 so we could be ready and rested for the IOA side of Universal. Just in case ya wanted to know the temp was 85 and a little humid while we were in the parks. Felt wonderful to me.
