I was just wondering if anyone knows why the newest smiles are sometimes animated but most of the time not animated on my computer? Right now they aren't animated.
Thanks
Holly

It would have to do with your settings or your browser. It may just be that the browser needs to be reloaded.

is it JUST the new smiles that are not animated? How about the old ones? As Moley pointed out this is typically a browser issue.

Lime Green Cheri had a similar problem.... Did you ever get that fixed Cheri?

Yes, it's just the new ones. All of the other ones haven't changed. But, I just check it again and they are animated right now!?!?
I'm going to try a few in this post --

So far so good. I'll let you know if it stops again.
Thanks a bunch,
Holly

Most of the time my smiles are now animated, but there are times, when they will go for days and not work. I did change a couple of things in my browser settings and even looked up how to fix it on the web somewhere. (I didn't bookmark it though, )

I'm thinking it is just a weird little quirk on my computer. I'll search around today and see if I can find that website.

One thing that I know will STOP animated icons is to hit the STOP button in the browser taskbar at the top of the page.

Just wanted to share that little fact to make sure it isn't the problem. Also, after you click on a smile in the popup smilie window (when editing a post), they stop animating. Not sure why that happens, maybe a stop is generated in there as well...
