Mary Poppins is my most favorite movie. Next after that would be The Sound of Music. Both movies do the job of lifting my spirits.

Tough call, Pinky.
If I have to pick only one, it's gotta be "Casablanca." It's so hokey and romantic! Bogey and Ingrid at their best, with a wild script full of snappy one-liners, and all kinds of quirky, intriguing supporting characters. The music's great, too, as are the costumes, the sets, and the gorgeous cinematography (sp?).
"Fargo" is a darn close second; "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Quiz Show" are right up there, too. For pure popcorn munching fun, it would be "Raiders of the Lost Ark."
I knew I couldn't list just one!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is my all-time favorite. That is as close to a romantic movie I can stand. Believe it or not, I've never even seen Gone With the Wind or Sound of Music!

Esmerelda, we've either got to get you out more often, or send you some video tapes.
If I had to pick just one, I guess I'd say The Color Purple. I never tire of watching it. There are so many favorites in different categories though.

Other top contenders are: Goodfellas, Sixteen Candles, Office Space, My Fair Lady, St. Elmo's Fire, American History X and finally Rainman
