effect what resort you stay at? I am thinking about renting points this year and staying at the BCV, but if we go in Dec again I doubt we get much pool time being the time of the year. So now I'm thinking WL or WLV but I know they fill up quick that time of year. Now I feel stressed all over again with that big question WHERE ARE WE GOING TO STAY? How do you all do it?

I first choose my resort based on budget. But, with that being said, we did opt for a moderate for Spring Break. I decided that if the parks are packed, I wanted a pool with a slide for the kids when we head back for a break.
Don't stress over it, just think of it as endless possibilites! :captain:
Tonya, we pick the resort that interests us the most when we're booking. Being DVC members, there are a number of choices within the club, as you know, and all are great! If you are looking to rent points, I would get them from someone that has VWL as their home, rent next month, and get the 11 month booking window. I think you should be ok.

Time of year is a major factor when we decide which resort. We chose Wilderness Lodge for our first Christmas visit in 2002, and next time we go at Christmas I definitely want to stay at WL again.
Our next trip will be in June, so a resort with a great pool is important. That's a major reason we're staying at the Dolphin this time.
