Disney to spin off ABC Radio Holdings

Disney is spinning of ABC Radio to Citadel.

Disney will keep Radio ESPN & Radio Disney.

It makes sense. Isn't ABC mostly, if not all talk radio these days? It gets the backlash for any controversial talk show hosts off themselves.

I didn't know there was an Radio ESPN and haven't listen to Radio Disney since their first year when they went from kid friendly music with a lot of Disney tunes, to being a marketing tool for their own line of tween singers.

BTW, bit of trivia. The off beat morning news show, The Daily Buzz commented recently that they broadcast from MGM. I knew they were based in Orlando, but didn't know Disney still had much in the way of working studios.

ETA: Correction. It must have been a temporary thing about MGM, since their site states they tape in Lake Mary, which as indicated erroneously on their site is North OF Orlando, not North Orlando.

So...never mind.

Yeah, I got the investor prospectus in the mail today...we get shares of Citadel and I think my shares will come out to a whopping 2.-something-or-other. Woohoo! Just looked up Citadel stock....not getting a good feeling. It'd probably cost me more to sell what I'll get then just let it ride.
