I've heard thru the grapevine that the Tikki Room at Disneyland may be going down for rehab late summer. Anybody else hear such a thing?

If they need to oil a few birds and replace a few feathers here and there fine..........just please don't Under New Management it. Some rides should stay classics.
I agree with you Andy, this is one that should be left alone. I have not really been impressed with the 'upgrade' done in the MK.

I completely agree!! I am hopefully going to DL in 2005, and am sooo excited at the prospect of seeing the real thing. I do NOT like the MK version!

I have to agree! I miss the old Tiki Room. I went in when I was there the last time and was very disappointed. Some things really should just stay the same. I think that same thing goes for the Imagination section of EPCOT!!

That would not be fun. We absolutely dislike the rehab. When we went on our honeymoon 10 years ago we sang that song over and over. We just love how it sticks in your head. Now it is just plain 'ol disappointing

Another vote for keeping Walt's version! And don't you really think that having two versions of some attractions keeps people NEEDING to visit both parks to compare? Yeah, that's it--keeping the original version ADDS to the bottom line! Hear that Disney planners????
