Last night I was looking at an old DVC guidebook, from when I bought in the first time around at BWV. Back then, it listed the studios as "sleeps 4, some sleep 5 on child size daybed". Now they only allow four guests in these rooms. Whatever happened to the rooms with daybeds? Sure would be convienent, for those of us with little ones!
Does anyone else remember this?
When we were staying at the BWV, there was the queen bed, the fold out sofa, and a port-a-crib in the hall closet. I don't remember there being room for a daybed....

I believe they call these a Studio-Plus. Not sure how many BWV has (and ONLY BWV has them) And I don't know if you can confirm one of these, or if they are the luck of the draw... I'd call member services and ask...

Wooo-hoo! I called member services, and asked about these rooms. They said they are available, and added the request to my two night reservation. They said that increases the number allowed per room to four adults & one child. Now if my parents decide to join us early, they can stay with us for those two nights, instead of getting a room elsewhere. Then we all move to two studios at VWL for the rest of the week. How cool is that!
Basically, the CM said they can't confirm these rooms, but so few people ask for them, that if you request this type of room, you almost always get one. :) I'm so doing the happy dance right now! First, my wait list night came through, and now this happy news.
Only 122 days til we go! :minnie:
