New Watermice coming to WDW

Now I'd like to know how they will compare powerwise to the existing boats... :)

WDWMagic reports:

This spring, the long running Water Mouse boats that are available to rent all around the WDW Resort will be replaced with a new model called Sea Raycers. The 200 new 2 seater boats will be available for rental at the Magic Kingdom Resorts, Caribbean Beach, Yacht and Beach Club, Coronado Springs and the Downtown Disney area. The Sea Raycers are designed by specialist company, Sea Ray.

Did it indicate when they would arrive? We are staying at CBR May 16-23 and I was planning on renting one anyway. I would love to get one of the newer, updated models!! :bounce:

Just "this spring" - not sure of an actual date...

I'm wondering if they will be faster. Last year the ones we got at the WL were extrememly slow. Oh the need for speed.

Ooooh, let's hope they are available when we go. And that the weather is warm enough for us to do a run on the lake.
