Rooms for ToT 13K Race in October

*** Anyone interested in a group discount on rooms for the Tower of Terror 13K / 6.5K Race in Oct ***

If you would, please respond to this thread so we can get a good idea of where the Tag.Team members and cheeristas might be interested in staying, so we can see if we might qualify for some group discounts on rooms :clap:

I'm rooming with BetsyAnn so I'll go where ever she goes. These are my preferred resorts to look at for a group deal:

Value: Pop
Mod: POFQ
Deluxe: Epcot area resort because of the proximity to the Studios (but secretly harbor a dream to stay at the Poly lagoon view someday.......)

I voted for Pop, I need to make this for as least money as possible. I already have my AP, I have a free flight at SW, I on't think I can go without a car but I will look for a deal for that too. WooHoo!

I've already got this trip covered though. One night at the Swan and then I had just enough DVC points left to stay at the Boardwalk Villas. I think I should get credit for a half marathon by the time I do the 13K and walk to and from "home". :lol:

Looks like Pop is a the POPular resort this trip! :)

One thing to note, historically, Disney will release the AllStars for less/night than the Pop Century. So, if you are looking for absolute least expensive, AllStars may be the way to go.

We should have info from Disney this coming week. Thanks for the poll, Belle - it does help. :)

That is a good question! This question came up with the MouseFest package as well. Here is a quote from that thread:
