Anyone have any recent experience with Fireworks Cruise at MK? I am looking at it for our trip next month. We will be picked up at GF vs. Contemporary since we will be eating there. I wondered about the Wishes view. I know that you see ELP. I have heard a few times that it can be cold on the water - how cold is cold - hat/gloves or just extra sweater.

Carrousellover - glad the cruise was great and hope that the rest of the trip was, as well. Can you describe your cruise a little bit more? Have you done the Illuminations Cruise? If so, which do you prefer? Did you see the fireworks in the MK - how does the experience differ on the boat from in the park? Thanks in advance!!

Where to start? I have never done the Illuminations Cruise. The Fireworks cruise started off for us at GF Marina. I believe it is typically from Contemporary however we were eating at 1900 so it worked well for us to pick up there. Our skipper was fantastic. He took us out onto Bay Lake and then looped back onto Seven Seas Lagoon for Wishes.
Wishes by water is incredible. The whole presentation is just incredible. I think it is a nice thing to see it in the park so that you have a sense of the music and can experience that portion (as you don't hear the music as well) but we really appreciated the "show" from the water. It was truly special. There were only two other boats out - the Grand I and another pontoon when we saw it. Our spot was this incredible view. Our skipper told us all types of trivia - some we knew much we did not. His enthusism and sense of humour really added to it. What other questions everyone?

Actually, looking at your countdown meter - what I would reallyl like to know is how the 7 year old felt about his/her birthday celebration!! Hope it was all that you and your family dreamed of!!

Carrousellover thanks so much for telling us about the Cruise. I think it sounds like so much fun. How many can go in the boat & how much is the cost? I think this is one I would love to share with some friends in June. We did the Illuminations Cruise together once & it was awesome.
