Just watched the Golden Globe awards and this TV Movie or Mini-series won a lot of awards -- Anyone see it?

I tried but honestly couldn't get into it. It looked like it would be very good, the cast alone would make it worthwhile, but every time I tried to watch it, I just ended up changing the channel. I think I will give it another try though!

No Johnny lost to Bill Murry for Lost in Translation - both performances were award worthy in my opinion. But the characters they played were night and day -- Johnny way over the top and Bill gentle and underplayed.

I think I mentioned Lost in Translation when it came out - it was a gentle, kind movie. I liked it a lot! It also won for Best screen play and best director! So check it out if you get a chance - It should be on the Oscar list!

What happened to Nicole Kiddman?? I thought she looked horrible in that dress, and it seems she popped out of it to :oops: while she was presenting. Hmm, was that just for her X the Mr Tom Cruise???

I watched about one half of the first season & it was a great show. Each show is 24 hours in the life of the character Keifer Sunderland plays, I think it's Jack Bauer. It was a good show, but something else got my attention & I haven't been back.

Joan of Arcadia is a great show! Love it! Great for the entire family. :tink:
