Tonga Toast

Is Tonga Toast (Banana Stuffed French Toast) only available at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian or can you still get at some of the other resort Food Courts?

They have it at Boatwrights at POR. We actually prefer it here. It is absolutely THE best, and is served with a yummy strawberry sauce and your choice of breakfast meat. If we are not staying at POR or POFQ, we actually go out of our way to get to Boatwrights once during our stay just to have it. The Kona Cafe is more convenient, but we just love the version at Boatwrights!

I just saw this listed on the menu at Rainforest Cafe for breakfast, but it doesn't state that it is "stuffed"... just called Tonga Toast.

The AKL has banana stuffed french toast on its room service menu. I don't know if it's the exact same recipe as Tonga Toast. Certainly it was much better than the room service Tonga Toast I got at the Poly, but that was because to get our food to us they had to take it outside in the cold (I think--it was also a little overdone). I plan to try the real stuff at the Kona Cafe next time.

All Star Movies had three types of stuffed French Toast, one of them being banana, so I assumed that was the same???? The day we splurged, someone brough me back cherry, I think, I wanted to try the banana! That was in 2001, so maybe it has changed.
