I found this and thought other people might have fun with it too:

After you go through Tokyo Disney, it takes you to their Tokyo Disney Sea photos. They also have full trip reports.

I liked their photos (bonus for seeing the Halloween decorations) and I also loved their sense of humor. My kind of Disney people!

It's a dream of mine too, Moley! I saw that other thread you have where it Tokyo Disney Seas started out as an idea for California. I would love them to build one here -- especially in Florida where I'd have the best chance to see it.

They're absolutely gorgeous parks, aren't they? And it sounds like they've done a great job with the attractions.

And how about that monorail?! Mickey shaped windows and hand straps!

FYI: Extinct Attractions Club has a 2 DVD set of Tokyo Disney. I'm tempted, but I'm waiting for them to finish the one for Tokyo Seas. Then I hope they offer it as a set. I'd love to get it.

Thanks for sharing that link - brings back wonderful memories!!

I'm still working on getting more pictures up in the gallery. I must say - if you have an opportunity to go to Tokyo Disneyland & Disney Sea - take it! They are both wonderful parks with Disney Sea being probably our favorite park of all the Disney properties. So original, so much detail and incredible attractions!!

Plus, visiting Tokyo itself if such a wonderful adventure! Just a wonderful trip all around! :)

Erin,

Thanks for posting that link! The pics of the Tokyo parks were awesome! If Deb Wills had a tour group going there I would so definitely go! It looks really amazing. I would not travel out of the country solo and I wouldn't bring my daughter with me until she was older unless I had traveled there myself before. Just getting there and finding my way around would be a challenge for me by myself I'm sure. I wonder how long of a trip it would need to be to see most of the sights and with travel time and jet lag and all.

Aurora,

I would plan on a week if you are just wanting to visit the Tokyo Disney parks and Tokyo. If you were interested in more of the scenic areas of Japan (such as Kyoto), then 10 days.

The jet lag wasn't too bad for us flying over - it takes more of a toll when we return to the states. Plus you lose a day going over (if you leave on a Sat morning, you arrive on a Sunday). So, we plan on the first day being a down "catch up on sleep" relaxing sort of day.

Understandibly, it is challenging to think of getting around Tokyo on your own. It is nice that there are many in the airport and at Disney who speak Enlgish (or love to practive their English), so it isn't as daunting as it may seem.

We will have to keep our eyes open if Deb wants to host a trip over. That indeed would be a fun time! :)

Hey I know that girl! Well not personally but I know OF her. She is famous enough for her trips/reports that she has a cheat in Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 named after her. If you call one of them Elissa White all of her favorite coasters become unlocked in the game. Thank you, that is all of my useless trivia for the day.

ETA: And her boyfriend at the time (and now husband) was a game tester.
