Wow - the folks at MouseFanTravel have come up with another spectacular deal.. this time on an Adventure by Disney. Beci has worked out special details with Disney to offer this awesome trip at a discount.

Join Deb, Beci, Annette and friends on an Adventure this summer to the Southwestern US.

Seeing this part of the country has always been a dream for me. And now, not only will I get to see it, but I'll be seeing it first class Disney style!!!! When Linda and I started thinking about it, we both looked online at the Grand Canyon and started to cry.... it so incredible out there and we can't wait to experience it!

The Adventure is a 7 night, 8 day trip beginning August 14th. The whole itinerary is so awesome!!!

HIGHLIGHTS
Journey through enchanted canyons and painted deserts to uncover the untamed spirit of the American Southwest. Hike along rims of colorful canyons, Travel across sweeping plains and sail along rushing rivers on this outdoor adventure of a lifetime. Explore untouched nature by jeep, raft and even along the side of a real Navajo guide.

Fly into Phoenix and be transported to Sedona.
2 nights at Amara Creekside Resort

Then time for the Grand Canyon, which we will see at sunset and then early in the morning.. wow, just thinking about that gives me goose bumps!
2 nights at The Grand Hotel

Next to Moab - the Arches.. oh my gosh... I"l already trying to decide how many new memory cards to buy for the camera.
3 night at Red Cliffs Lodge

Fly home out of Grand Canyon Junction CO.

Luggage handling and transfers all done by Disney - in other words NO SHLEPPING YOUR BAGS...

This is a wonderful itinerary. You will be blown away by Sedona, too. Take extra memory cards! :D

Sounds like a fabulous trip and a very good price for arranged trips and top accommodations. Everyone have a fabulous time! How can you not?

A driving trip through the American Southwest is number one on our post-retirement vacation plans. I lived in New Mexico for a while as a kid and it really is another world. Wish we could afford this level of pampering--I can't wait for the trip report and photos!

I have always wanted to se the Grand Canyon! All the travel I have done in the west but have never had the pleasure. I am so excited about this one!

Christine.. I saw your note... the posted example rate is for land. Air is an add on becuase of the different gateways and so many have frequent flyer miles as well.

I found this to be a terrific way to travel and worth every cent on the London/Paris trip. If anyone has any questions about what an Adventure by Disney is all about feel free to ask or send me a PM.

If I could swing this, I would love to do it. I currently live pretty close to many of those locations and have been to some of them. I saw Sedona for the first time in January and it has become a favorite of mine.

Although I consider the Pacific Northwest my "home", there is still something to be said about the Southwest. (after 25 years it kind of grows on you...)

Wow - Deb does the BEST vacations! I drove to CA from NY at 20 and stopped in the Grand Canyon on the way. AMAZING! Something everyone should see at least once! And while I'd love to see it again - We'll be in WDW during this trip!

Really looking forward to the trip reports and pictures!!! Take lots of memory card Deb (and everyone!) These Adventures by Disney trips sound just amazing...

With DH's surgery this year, this isn't something I could afford, plus my vacation time is spoken for. I tend to plan my three weeks of vacation the year before, so the "last minute" trips aren't usually easy to do.

Hopefully I can do an Adventures program soon. I would do this one or the London/Paris one. Maybe 2008. And in 2009 - i finally get my 4th week of vacation! :mickey: :minnie: :minnie: :mickey:
