What are your favorite Disney sounds? The first ones that come to your mind when you think of Disney.

Mine would have to be the monorail "Please stand clear of the doors"

"Dead men tell no tales"

"Calling Mr. Morrow. Calling Mr. Tom Morrow".

The music to the France movie... I believe it is called Carnival of the Animals?

Cheri,

You definitely have some of my family's favorites on your list.

1. Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow...

2. Drag your decrepit (spelling-sorry) bodies into the center of the room.

3. The monorial--please stand clear...

4. To infinity and beyond...

Ohh--now you have my mind working overtime trying to think of the so many others!!!

Great question Cheri,

1. The sound of the waterfall at the Wilderness Lodge

2. The sound of the train at the Magic Kingdom

3. The sound of my heart beating faster and faster and we pull onto Disney property. Sorry I know that one is corny.

There are lots, aren't they? My "gosh I'm really here" sound is the Epcot background music that they play outside the gates...

But just listen to Mouse Radio sometime and realize how many many special sounds there are! :sun:

Okay this is the easiest question of all for us. We love the sounds of the crickets on the way to/from the bus stop at Wilderness lodge. Can beat cricket music since we have tons of the real things I'd much rather hear from the speakers. DH and I always comment on the sound after long days in the parks.

A wake up call from Mickey himself is an awesome sound to me!

"Time to be turning around. If only you could. Laughing place, huh? I'll show YOU a laughing place."

"Please Brer Bear, please don't flings me in to that there briar patch."

"Now approaching Main Street Station"

"In the tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki room
In the tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki room,
Where the birds sing words and the flowers croon
In the tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki, tiki room"

"Hold on to your hats and glasses, 'cause this here is the WILDEST ride in the wilderness."

"Please take small carbon based life forms by the hand" (I cracked up laughing every time I heard this. RIP Alien Encounter)

"Welcome aboard the Walt Disney World Express monorail, your highway in the sky to the seven themed lands of the Magic Kingdom."

"Hurry back... hurry back...don't forget to bring your death certficate."

"Your cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding, almost as though you sense a disquieting metamorphosis. Is this haunted room actually stretching? Or is it your imagination? And consider this dismaying observation: this chamber has no windows, and no doors. Which offers you this chilling challenge: to find a way out! Of course, there's always my way." AHHHHHHH!

"Beware of hitchhiking ghosts!"

One of my very favorite sounds in all of the Magic Kingdom are the giggles of the lauging hyenas in Its A Small World. You can hear it better in Disneyland because they are closer to the boat there, but I did hear it in WDW in December.

An old favorite you don't hear anymore was "You really CAN fly, you really DO have wings... Delta, we'll be your wings"

Plus about a billion more...

Please step into a row moving all the way to the left leaving no empty seats, and when exiting take small children by the hand (my smallest child is 15 (sigh :walk: )

ALL OF THE ABOVE.

Especially enjoy hearing the train whistle and all aboard as we enter MK and pass under the train.

Definitely It's A Small World.

The castmembers at Roaring Forks at WL shouting out "Who's Got the Ketchup?".

Mickey waking us up in the morning by phone.

The Spanish version of Please stand clear of the doors......on the monorail (which everyone tries to repeat but can't).

All the songs in all the attractions and in all the parks etc.

But, especially, hearing the little ones laugh and shriek when they enter MK for their first ever visit. Nothing compares to that!!!

"One stormy night long ago, five people stepped in the door of an elevator and into a nightmare. That door is opening once again and this time, it's opening for you."

Just screams "Disney" to me

The background music that a lot of people don't really hear, and the music just outside Epcot is a good example (someone already mentioned it), Dead Men Tell No Tales, the monorail speeches -- all of them!, the music that plays when there's no dialogue on the train ride, and my favorite of all -- the fountain music!
I love 'em all. :-)
