How do you add the photos? I wanted to add some to trip reports, but when I clicked on the attachment feature, it said a photo could be no bigger than 19K jpeg. How do you make photos that small? At the very lowest resolution on Photoshop I can't make a photo that small. Advice will be appreciated.

There are a couple of easy ways to add pictures to your post. Both ways you pull up the picture in the Gallery. You can then do one or 2 things.

1. Right mouse click & choose copy
2. Go to your post & place cursor where you want picture & then right mouse click & choose paste.

or

1. At the bottom of the picture you have open in the Gallery cut & paste the URL called UBBCode.

I'll go with the assumption you don't have another site where you host your photos.

My first suggestion would be to upload the photos you want to show into the photo gallery. (See the link to the Gallery) in the middle of the blue menu bar above.

I see you have some photos in the Gallery, so I'll use one of them.

The easiest way to hotlink (embed) a photo is to simply copy the UBB code in the middle of the Gallery page with your photo and paste it here.

So pasting (without the *)

thanks, I'll give this a try. And much to my amazement someone who met the above friend won the picture of the week on the All Ears site. I was going to submit this, but thought those pictures had to have people in them!

The only thing I would suggest with this photo, is to see if you can adjust the color a little. He looks a bit on the purple side.
