Radio Shack has a 2GB SanDisk Memory Card on sale through March 31st for $29.99! I have about 6 memory cards already but this is one great deal.

That's a good deal MJ.
Even if you don't want to put all your pictures on one disk, video clips can take up a LOT of space. With a large card like that, people can experiment video taping more parades, fireworks, etc. without the risk of running out of space.

Hey Margaret you know you can take pictures off those cards and use them again right? ;) What do you do with six? I never even filled up the one I have. Oh wait, 3 meals a day x 365 days a year = 1095 pictures a year and that is just your food! Suddenly it is all clear. ;)

Thanks MJ! I'm finding lots of these cards very useful. So many devices take these SD cards now its great having extras with lots of space. I can pop them into the PS3 and watch a great (and HD res!) slideshow of the pictures right on the TV. And I just picked up a Picture frame at Sam's Club that displays pictures from the internal 128MB or several other sources including SD Cards like this one. Plugging them into most of today's printers is pretty common, as are slots right on your computer itself. Its nice not having to connect the camera to a computer with a USB cable. I can copy pictures directly from the cards themselves.

Sometimes I wonder why I married you. ;) We have 2 digital cameras, & the smaller Memory Cards really don't hold that much especially on the 8 megapixel camera. I do know I can take the pictures off but I do take lots of pictures so I need numerous & don't want to take the chance of putting all my pictures on one card. What happens if it gets lost or damaged?

I found even when having my computer to off load my photos at the end of the day, having a spare card let me skip a night and fall into bed at the end of the day.
