Red Hat Pottery w/Cinderella's group

[Cinderella]

This is a pic of the finished pottery that my red hat group worked on last week. One of the ladies just picked up the finished pieces at the Pottery By Me place in MD where we went to paint the pieces we picked out. You don't make the pottery but just pick out the unfinished pieces and paint them. Had lots of fun.

Mine is the white plate in the middle that has our chapter name, Purple Passions with Hattitude. It has a picture of a hat in the middle with a ladies purple eyes.

Most of my ladies did sponge painting and were done in ten minutes. Not me........I had to struggle with my hands and using a tiny brush to paint on eyelashes. What was I thinking? The ladies that did have designs used the stamps and just stamped them on.

Cinderella - I liked yours best even before I read that it was yours! It's really cute and you can tell that you took your time and put your heart into it. The best art is filled with heart.

What a fun outing. I agree with the others--yours is an original and a standout. The eyes are great--I think it was worth all that meticulous effort.

Nicely done Cindy. Fine brushwork isn't the easiest thing to do....I'm impressed. If you do any more pottery with your group or privately I'd be curious to see pix of them.

Oh what a neat idea. I wonder if they have some sort of paint your own pottery thing around here.
