I was wondering about tipping in sit-down restaurants...this occurred to me while eating out this past weekend. If we are charging back to the room, are we able to include a tip in our charge total? Or do we need to have $5's and $1's on us for tips? I know that we shouldn't tip in Disney Dollars, but we were planning on putting the Disney Dollars down towards our room and charging back on that. I guess I'm just wondering if there is a place on the receipt (like with a credit card) that I would be able to sign for our food total plus a tip total.

We are planning on carrying some small bills for snacks and things like that but I would like to keep the cash-carrying to a minimum! :D

Thanks!

JennyAnne, we always include the tip in our room chargeback. The receipt you get is just like a regular chage slip and has a space for you to include the tip. And even if you put Disney Dollars down on the room, once that transaction is made there is no difference between you placing money down and someone putting a set amount on their credit card.

Have a great time!

Thanks Joe! That will decrease the amount of extra money we have to carry around the parks. I would hate to have eaten dinner and not have money for the tip!

Joe's right JennyAnne. And you will enjoy charging back to the room--it's so nice to have all your expenses itemized in one location for you when you get that final bill!
