Does Disneyland have Disney's PhotoPass system like WDW?

I read a post on the DIS Boards that someone was able to get PhotoPass pics from a DLR trip combined on a CD with pics from a WDW trip.

Does DLR have PhotoPass photographers in the parks like WDW? If so, where do you usually find them? Any ride photos in the system yet?

I just want to polish up my PhotoPass primer on my web site before deploying it, and I really had no idea that DLR might be in the same PhotoPass system as WDW until today!

I read they started it in DCA first and now are supposed to be in Disneyland. Im going next week Thursday for a few days so Ill keep my eye out for this and report back.

When we were there in August, they did not have the photocards yet. It was one of the things I mentioned in a survey with them. I hope they do have them now.

Disneyland has always had photographers in the parks just had not gotten to the photocards yet. It would be a great addition!

I can tell Now that Disneyland and DCA Have the same Photo pass as WDW.
I use my from WDW and at DL Feb, 2 2007

also got one in the mail Ap photo pass and 5% off

I do not know on attraction.

Yep - we had pictures taken at Christmas time at DL and when I uploaded them at home to my existing WDW pictures from April it extended the expiration on my WDW pictures to match the new ones.

I haven't seen it at any attractions yet but a lot of photographers are walking around. (Castle area, Outside DCA by the California letters and inside DCA by the Greetings from Ca shop were all picture locations we used).

I would love to see the ability to have the Buzz Lightyear pictures uploaded to photopass instead of e-mail. They just don't look as good as the photopass ones.

We will be there next Friday and will have to check attractions again. Maybe that will be one of the upgrades when Splash Mountain comes out of rehab.

I forgot to reply here and Lisa sorry I wasnt able to make a connection. I was only there a couple days and met up with a bunch of friends from California. And this trip was mainly to be with my 23 year old daughter I havent seen in 6 months.

I saw a few photo pass photographers but not a lot
I saw some near the castle, (pretty close and sort of right of it to probably not pick up on the cover on the side of the castle)
I saw one near small world, there were several as you enter the disneyland gates in that courtyard,


In DCA I saw many more. LIke in front of the wave like fountain, then I saw some over by the vinyard, a saw one near the Mission tortilla and beer cart taking pictures of people in the basket hanging over the water (as you enter the pier), several as you enter the park.


Im sure there are more. Thats all I noticed this trip.
