DisneyBuff --

If there is a picky eater in your group - I would then go with a character Buffet. I think that would be Chief Mickey's, 1900, Crystal Palace in MK. There would have a big selection of food options so the chance to find something everyone will eat is very high.

I have two favorite character dinner meals - that serve about the same thing -- Liberty Tree Tavern - a very traditional thanksgiving kind of fare - it does include mac and cheese, and Garden Grille - which has the catfish that I love. These are both all you care to eat but are brought to your table and served family style. :eat: I believe there is a child's option but unsure exactly what it is. Hope this helps!

I think Chef Mickey's is really fun for birthdays! Plus they have a lot of choices.

We just did Garden Grille 2 weeks ago for the first time. We not only got the regular fare but the kids and vegetarian choices.

On the kids plate is steak fries, chicken fingers, mac & cheese.

On the vegetarian plate it is the same vegetable concoction they have on the regular plate topped by a portabello mushroom topped by shaved super thin onion rings.

For dessert they have worms in dirt and a apple cobbler topped with ice cream. I don't know if they had any other choices for dessert though - I didn't ask.

Buffy,

Last summer for my birthday we went to 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian for dinner. It has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy and Perla for the characters and they spent alot of time with us. The food was excellent and there is quite a nice variety of food served, that our picky eater was completely full when we left.
