Whew! Given the great 'time weirdness data' that BetsyAnn and others pulled together when the board time problems were occuring Sunday night, the ISP admins where able to debug the problem. :clapping:
Thanks BA, Moley and other mods! :flowers: I was on a train between FL and Philly and no help at all! ;)
So - we should have NO more time issues after this afternoon. (Right now, there are a few posts lying around that are in the 'future'...) I'd say after about 3pm all should be good to go and posting in the proper order.
Oh, and part two of the message. Our server is being moved to a new building tomorrow. Please be advised that the site will be unavailable during the move (duh! ) but should be back online in an hour or two.
Its just more fun than we should have to deal with! :peri:

Thanks for having it looked at, and great work to BA and everyone else for tracking it down. It will be nice not to be posting so far in the future. I can barely keep up with my thoughts in real time. ;)

Just as long as they aren't moving it to another time zone.

LOL - nope, just across town over near LAX. Some servers are already there, so things should work properly! Good not to be FIRST! ;)
The move is scheduled for 10:30pm PST or around 1:30am here on the morning of 2/1. So I doubt the move will affect too many people.
Let's hope this move doesn't create any NEW server issues!

I'm so glad these are getting fixed - I was getting really confused, and it's not good to confuse a woman over 50! Thanks for tracking it all down everyone.
So should they all be corrected by now? I was just in a thread that I started in catch all the other day and they are still mixed up in there.

No, once a post has a 'bad time' it stays that way. No way to fix it after the fact. It just should STOP occuring anymore, so if you see new posts out of order please let us know!

The threads which were previously mixed up will stay that way, they won't get sorted when the time glitch is debugged. The correction will only affect posts from that time after.

OK - got it. So a good idea to check the top of the threads for a while. I just found a few posts at the start of a couple of threads that I had missed before......

Yup! This is NOT a good bug to have on a forum! Messed up times are a real pain in the butt when trying to keep posts in order! ;)

The other day, when this was happening I'd open a board, rather than just click on the most recently updated thread to find there were updates to other threads I'd missed. Neither the 'new posts' option or my unread cookies caught these threads.
I'm glad to hear the time option is fixed. I have enough trouble trying to remember what day it is.
