hi Universal area experts,

I'm curious about the restaurants at CityWalk. We're not interested in Emerils (apologies to any fans of the overgrown Ewok), but we'd like to hear the scoop on others. DH is keen on the NBA-themed one but I'd like to hear your take, good or bad, about any of them.

Thanks in advance for your advice,

Sandi

Sandi -

We love the atmosphere of Jimmy Buffets' Margaritaville!! The food is standard fare for those "themed" restaurants, but the Key West style, relaxed atmosphere is a lot of fun - and the bonus is that you can sing along!! My husband and I loved the music and my kids liked the food and the "bohemian" feel of the place - relax and believe you are on the beach watching a Key West Sunset - it's a great fantasy break from touring in the parks!!

Your DH has chosen the very favorite of Universal employees. The value at the NBA city is the best for the quality, truly a highly recommended eatery.

We also like Margaritaville. The Margarita volcano eruption is fun. It is a fun place for all ages and the food is excellent. My own favorites are the coconut shrimp and the pink lemonade(non-alcoholic). My Orlando nephew likes the Latin Quarter, but it is more of an adult atmosphere.
