I have some wacky friends who love to play Scrabble online against each other. Have you ever done this? I'm toying with the idea of trying it, but just not sure how to carve out the time for a regular game.

Not my kind of online game, but there's a really fun drawing one (sort of like pictionary) on Yahoo Games that I've done with friends.

I haven't played that, Moley, but it sounds like fun. I play a lot of Mahjong, I keep trying to beat my best time.

My mom plays online games with her friends via email and loves it. I'd like to play but I think my mom is the only who'd want to play with me. Unless of course you are game....

I am seriously thinking of it but have no idea how it is done online. Would you be merciful to an old lady? And can I cheat? :mrgreen:

Moley I'm sure you could find a way to cheat! My MIL found a way to cheat at Pinnochle(sp). I didn't know how to play so she was teaching me and being my partner, so we were on the phone with each other while playing that way I could tell her what I had!:razz:

I don't think of it as cheating. I think of it as creative spelling. (Phonics anyone?) I'll ask my mom about it next time I talk to her.

If the wacky friends are the ones I know of, the site where we play is http://www.isc.ro/. Most of our games are spur of the moment - we'll see one another on AIM or logged into the game. Creative spelling is encouraged but there is a challenge button. :)

Anyone is welcome to join in - you can create a buddy list or search for a player.
