My husband and I have annual passes to Disneyland and this year we decided to upgrade to premium since the marathon weekend is completly blacked out for us on the deluxe and now we can go in the summer and spring if we want. Anyway when we bought our passes the first time it was December and when we renewed it renewed for the same date. I emailed them and asked if I can return them and repurchase closer to when we go since we live in Arizona and have not been there since it renewed. Thats a lot of money to sit there completly not used.
They asked me to call the annual pass numeber and they said yes to send it all back and I can get a refund. Thats $678 for two passes being returned to me. Then when I get to go next I can purchase a new pass valid for an entire year from then. That to me is above and beyond customer service. It was my fault for renewing and not going any time soon but they fixed it all up for me.
