Yeah! Great news. We will be at the Magic House for Valentine's Day. (I'm going to a Conference at the Contemp but hey however it takes) My hubby is going along. We would love to hear recommendations for romantic dinners!

Hi Briar Rose!

Lucky for you to be at WDW for Valentine's Day. I don't care what the reason is for having to go, I'd be there in a second!! :D

I cannot speak from experience, because I have not been to WDW in a long time. But I asked a similar question awhile ago because my husband and I were looking for an anniversary dinner location. While we haven't decided yet, Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge and California Grill at the Contemporary were recommended. I know that people also recommended a seafood place, but I can't remember which one as I am not a huge seafood eater (Fulton's, maybe?). Of course, I've also heard that Victoria & Albert's is beautiful and romantic, but that was out of our price bracket.

I'm sure others who have been there more recently will come along with suggestions....just thought I would share a couple suggestions that were made to me to get you started!

Have fun!!

For my money it's tough to beat a Castle for romance! If you make a PS and state it's a Special Occasion you can probably get a nice talbe near a window and enjoy the Wishes fireworks.

When we went for our 15th anniversary a few years ago, we had dinner at the California Grille. The meal was magnificant, the view was great, and the company enthralling. It was a meal that we both enjoyed and would do again for a special occasion. You might want to make your PS quickly though, time is running out.

I think Jiko is currently the most romance-friendly restaurant at WDW. It has such moody lighting and some very comfortable spaces. We dined there for our big dinner this last trip and loved every bite!

I think I would vote for California Grille or the Castle during Wishes! How fun!

My vote is for California grill. The food was wonderful. The atmosphere in the wine room is quiet and the view is lovely. The meal was paced nicely, not at all rushed. A nice walk out to the balcony to enjoy the spectacular view of the fireworks, then back inside for dessert. I think we spent close to 2 hours at the California Grill and enjoyed every delicious second of it!

Thank you everybody for the great replies. I tried to book Cinderella's but of course FULL. UGGGGG. We've eaten at California Grill on our five-year anniv. It was great but I'm not married to a "fancy" kind of eating person. It makes him nervous! I don't get that one but okay honey! Flying Fish, Chefs deFrance same response. I'm sure he'd have a panic attack at V & A's. I told him I'd go alone for my Valentine's dinner. He didn't like that idea either. So maybe a hotdog at Caseys' can be romantice. Other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

hugs to all

BriarRose,

How about LeCellier In Canada at Epcot? Great Steakhouse, with an atmosphere and NOT fancy, but rather casual. Great food at reasonable prices. It's one of our favorites.

BriarRose, I think Sheryl's hit it on the money. LeCellier makes a great steak and has a friendly atmosphere. But that hotdog can be romantic, too--just feed eachother and smile a lot!

Wonderful idea Sheryl. I think he will go for that especially since steak is on his sugarbusters diet. I've also seen mention of the soup there. Now Miss B did you see the Friends episode last week with Joey and not liking the food taken off his plate.... I think I'd have to feed myself and I ALWAYS smile like I'm in LOVE at WDW!!!!! The best part is trip without the DD. (let me tell you how mad she is at us)

You guys are the greatest.

It was over a year ago, but my then boyfriend brought me to Narcoossee's for my birthday. This place was wonderful. We had a view of the water. The food was delicious. And we had a nice romantic walk around GF afterward.
