Haunted Mansion rehab

Rumors of a rehab for the Haunted Mansion are swirling. It is painfully obvious they need to do basic maintenance. The gift shop at the exit, themed like a catacomb or mausoleum, looks like it is definitely taking shape. There is room behind the existing “Bluebeard’s wives” tombs heading back towards the old Skyway station to put a decent sized shop.

I hope they don't do this early Feb when I'm at WDW. HM is a must do for me every trip :)

Andy, so far no other site is listing this as a definite. (I just checked Deb's site and a couple others.)

I'd also keep an eye on the map on Disneyworld.com. Click on the dates themselves; Disney lists what is closed for refurbishment at the bottom. If they close HM, it'll be there although I don't know how far in advance they make such rehab dates official.

Maybe because so many people argued it wasn't her ring, just a broken pole? Some people have no magical imagination. ;)
