OK everyone! The moment you have ALL been waiting for! ;)
The Men of Tagrel.com calendars are ready to order! Lisa (photographer) has been working hard to pull together all the photos as well as research and create the calendars themselves.
Men of Tagrel 2007 Calendars on Lulu.com (http://stores.lulu.com/store.php?fAcctID=810578)
We will be using lulu.com for the calendars and there are two versions available.
Premium Version: 13 pages, 13.50" x 19.00", coil binding, 80# white interior paper, full-color interior ink. $24.00
Standard Version: 26 pages, 11" x 8.5", coil binding, 100# white interior paper, full-color interior ink. $15.00Make sure to check your shipping, as it seems to default to UPS which is mighty pricey! Media Mail was only $1.91 for me... and Priority Mail was $4.86 The site makes about $3 per calendar.
Don't worry too much about getting the calendar in mid January... We knew this would happen since most of the pictures were taken at MouseFest, so January is a collage of outtakes.
Lisa promises to post some previews of the monthly pictures!
Thanks everyone and a big thanks to Lisa for all her hard work! It was FUN running around the VWL lobby in my jammies.... :mickeyXmas:

I would like to thank Dave for allowing me to run with this idea. It was tossed about in 2005 but that was it. Last year I brought up the idea again and went full speed ahead and am very happy that I did. I enjoyed spending time with each of the guys and their families. They all did a great job and deserve a round of applause.
There are 11 guys in the 12 month calendar. I had one guy who wasn't able to make it to MouseFest but offered to meet me in Boston because he really wanted to be a part of the calendar. Unfortunately, at the last minute his schedule changed. I went with a collage to fill the month.
My thanks to Ray, John, Jason, Ken, Brian, Mike, Bill, Robb, Dave, Will, and Mark for taking the time out of their vacations and submitting themselves to my imagination. Special thanks to Michelle, Mik, Sharon, Terri, Carol, Janice, Robbie and all of the families who let me borrow these guys for the shoots. I truly appreciate it. Thanks to Brian for making the Wet Paint sign for Mark's shoot. Thanks to Amy for offering up her Milanos for Dave's shoot. Thanks to CM Donna for letting us borrow the pony for Ken's shoot.
And now on to the photos...

Lisa was great, and as an added bonus, I got to see Dave's shoot, which was just before mine. Those jammies are cute indeed...
Oh, and yes, on a good day, I think I can lift maybe even 10 pounds...
Great job Lisa, and all our remarkable models! Thank you for this opportunity!
Remember, this all goes to help support one of our favorite 'Net homes, so order yours today. I'll be happy to autograph any copies next MouseFest!

Sharon,
You know having July last all year long could be fun. Fireworks every night, he'll make lunch and dinner every night (of course real food is healthier than plastic) and best of all, John will always wear his hat that you love so much. ;)
Bill, I think an autograph signing is a brilliant idea! Why I remember as a 17 yr old meeting the Chippendales at a calendar signing. Ehhh LOL That just brought back some memories! :D

I dunno Jim...once you are recognized as one of the "months" you're accosted by all the Tag fans.
Why just yesterday before the Prime Time meet we had to call security before every stitch of clothing was torn from Brian's back. You know how zealous fans can be.
I'm sure Dave is smart enough not to walk around in public wearing those cute PJs 'cause...welll....you know...zealous fans.
That's what happens...Lisa makes everyone a star.
Tagrel
01-05-2007, 07:17 AM
LOL- well smart enough to keep out of public in jammies everywhere EXCEPT the VWL lobby!
Sure hope the groupies cool down before our August trip... and I guess wearing my SUMMER jammies in the lobby is a big no-no! :yikes:

Got mine today. Love the pictures. You really did a wonderful job with them Lisa.
My only complaint is the calendar itself. I wanted large blocks to write in, so I ordered the large calendar. All I got was gigantic pictures: the blocks on the calendar part were very small.
Oh well, I still have beefcake to look at. ;)

June weddings - you're the groom. The very suave, adorable, and dapper groom to be exact.
Debi - I didn't the months themselves would be smaller. Will keep that in mind. At least the photos look good.
I'm going to write a Making of the Men Calendar "trip report" soon. Should be funny.
