Avatar & Signature problems

I put in my avatars and signatures and they work fine. Then at some period in time I come back and all of a sudden the are the little red X's.
I have tried them from 2 sites and they work fine, but for some reason they do not stay on either site.
Am I making sense?

It could be that the site you are referencing does not allow hot links to it's images. If that is their policy, you will see the red x in the positions you put the URL. I did take a look at both of your pictures by cutting and pasting the address and they opened fine for me. The permissions thing is the best explanitation I can come up with for you.

I think Joe has it right. Many sites do not allow 'remote' image linking.

If you want to send the images to me in an email, I can host them for you.
