Last night I bought a gorgeous square basket with a liner that has PEACE stitched in it for 40% off at Michaels. I'm taking everyone's advice and making a basket for Zach's buddy's family.

They also had the cutest tea lite candle holders (snowmen, Santa, reindeer) on sale for $2.99. They are great for a little gift if you need one. Since we get together with Terry's Aunt and her family, I buy a little gift like this for the cousin's wives.

Unfortunatley the only things I buy anymore at the DS are Disney Dollars. All my kids are too big for what they have in store anymore! (sad face)

I found a set of Mouseketools from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for Tyler for Christmas when I was at the Disney Store yesterday. I'll be sad when he outgrows all those fun toys.

same here - I haven't been in our store in a good year or more. They used to have toasters - mugs - adult pj's etc.

Now it is just kid stuff.

Parents should stop buying stuff and see how fast the adult items return - wow that could be one of those year of dreams prize - the kids don't have the money - to draw the adults with the money in they need an adult lure. (I'm thinking Clooney in mouseears would do it ;) :lmbo: )

I haven't been in the Disney Store at the mall in a year. They just don't have the same quality they used to.

We don't even have a Disney store in our mall anymore. I use to go in there just to get a fix (and sometimes I would even buy something for the kids, on sale of course). Now we have to drive 1.5 hours to the nearest store.

Thanks for the tip Sheryl- there's supposed to be one in the area somewhere. With the dollar tree right next to one of the grocery stores I never seem to have to go farther than that! I may have to look it up!
