Cypress Sampler

Try a day at Cypress Gardens on us!

The "Cypress Sampler" allows you to use your valid 2006 sesason pass from any theme park to enjoy a day at Cypress Gardens.

From now until December 24th, simply bring your valid season pass, along with picture ID, to any of our ticket kiosks or the group sales window.

You'll receive a one day pass to Cypress Gardens. The pass must be used by the season passholder and is good only for the day you show your ID.

And it gets even better! You can come back as many times as you want before December 24th. Plus, the ticket is good for $10 off any of our 2007 pass options. Parking is additional. This offer may not be combined with any other discount for the Passport 2007.

Wow, this is a great opportunity for anyone with a Annual Pass to give Cypress Gardens a try. My first visit to Central Florida back in the 80's, my friend and I spent a day exploring the gardens. I'm still reminded of it whenever I see Spanish Moss. :)

BTW, for those of you who live near Valdosta, Georgia, their Annual Passport includes admission to their Wild Adventures park.

Cool! I'm glad at least one person here will be taking advantage of this.

I remember when Cypress Gardens first closed and thought how sad it was that one of Central Florida's original attractions was being lost.

I'm looking forward to hearing your report. It looks like they've done job of adding a mix of new rides, without losing the original traditions of the park.

They have one activity that I have to admit sounds so much cooler then the princess make overs. For $25 a girl can can dress up as a southern belle and wander the park for 90 minutes like that. I think that's just so cute!

After a really long lapse, we started going to the Cypress Gardens at Christmas time for a few years..Then after they reopened we went at Christmas last year and did enjoy it. Inspite of the changes it still has an nostalgic feel to it. The rides are in the back side where the 12 days of Christmas used to be... They really didn't take up any gardening area, however it was a place i really love to walk around. And the rides are pretty much for the young kids. They had a coaster we wanted to ride but GHJ was too tall!

I hope they make it or that the state buys it for it surely is a treasure that deserves to be preserved. It is in Chapter 11 or chapter something right now. Oh, I have seen lots of little girls walking around it those dresses. They really must enjoy walking around in them for the rules are quite strict...no eating , drinking etc while they are wearing them. And it used to be pretty expensive..not sure what the cost is now. However after the talk about the American Girl dolls, this is probalby a drop in the bucket...

After many years it was so funny for me to see the "big girls" in the dresses.. i used to think they were so old.

Another change is that the little electric boats no longer run. I think the canals are in icky shape. That developer really did a number on the place. :(

Anyhow, we intended to go anyway before or after mousefest so maybe we'll just go this week. Thanks again Robin!!

It's been years (like 20 years) since I've been there, but this was a place we visited every trip to Florida when I was a kid growing up. We loved it there.

Thanks for the info Robin. I was thinking about going there since I haven't been for years. Now I'll have to make it a priority.

Too bad the boats aren't working.

Thanks for the info. I think we will go check it out! I've been wanting to head over there. I just find it hard to pay admission to other places when we have APs to WDW, Seaworld/Busch Gardens!
