We set sail on the Magic on Nov 8th. Wondering if anyone else was going then? this will be our 2nd DCL. The first was in Oct. 2001 on the Wonder.

i totally recommend them! We went the first time on the 4-day just to try having never been on a cruise before. We have been dreaming ever since of going on the 7 day Western Carribean. Can't wait.

Have you ordered the DCL planning video on the website? I watch it often! :rofl:

Hi Lisa,
We sail 11/29 on the Eastern Itinerary. I can hardly wait, have had this trip planned for over a year already!

Give me details, are you going early, where are you staying? I have a suite at the Radisson booked for Thurs and Fri before the cruise. Thought we would do Kennedy Space Center on Friday or explore Cocoa Beach. What was your experience on your 4 day?

I have been to Grand Caymen and Cozumel on a Carnival cruise. You will love both the ports. Swimming with the stingrays in Grand Caymen was incredible, GREAT shopping there, too. In Cozumel, we swam with the dolphins.

I know I will be asking you lots of questions after you return!!

Hi Lisa, We're on Deck 6!! How neat to have someone I "know" that will be there, too. We'll have to keep in touch as the time grows closer!!
This will be our first cruise. We are sooo excited. Just booked last week.

Hi,
We are going down the Saturday before and staying 6 nights at AKL.

Ursula, when we did our four day we spent 8 nights at CS before the cruise and 2 nights at POFQ after. I don't think I would do the after again. It was hard to adjust back after all that relaxing. Plus it was hard to compare the service after as well. Maybe if we had stayed at a different hotel it would have been better, this was one week before they closed POFQ for its rehab in 2001.
