OKW to get Slide!

We attended the Members meeting on Thursday, 12/18/03 and the best piece of information they had was a new slide for OKW by 2005. No design confirmed. It will be interesting to see how things develop.

We stayed at BCV's and loved the location of the resort. Enjoyed swimming one afternoon and wished for more but weather did not co-operate. We stayed in Room 409. It was clean and in fair condition, close to the elevator and a pleasant view of one of the courtyards. We had a nightly turndown service and our Mousekeeper was very nice. She gave us many extra towels without asking. 8)

Played trivia game and won 4 DVC hats.

That's great news Sandy! Thanks for sharing it with us. My DW says that the lack of a slide on the main pool is one of the biggest reasons she does not prefer to stay at our home resort. Maybe this will get her happier with the facility.

That is GREAT! I think this is the number one complaint I've read about OKW, and will make many members very happy! Thanks so much for sharing the info Sandy! :)

WOO HOO!!!! This makes me VERY happy. My kids are getting bigger now and the one thing they told me was they wished OKW had a slide! I remember that there was a member vote on that issue a few years ago when they sent out the survey (the smae one that voted "in" paying extra for new towels each day etc.) I just assumed the vote was "no" and we'd never see one.....I wonder why they didn't put one in when the place was built? OK.....When the slide gets built it WILL BE the best dvc resort!!!! (I'm a little biased since it is my "home"!!!) Great news!!! Kathy
