I'm sure there must be some place down there that has the travelling shows. Can someone please let me know the name of the place, so I can look up what is showing.

Just go to www.ticketmaster.com (http://www.ticketmaster.com)

In the middle on the left side you can type Orlando and then in the drop down menu pick Broadway and it will find every show at every venue. It also has show descriptions and you can purchase the ticket there if you want.

What are you going to see? They have so many options. :)

Thanks Frogman, but it isn't working like I would like. If you pick Broadway it gives you actual Broadway, and if you pick off-Broadway it gives you actual off-Broadway. So I tried plays and ended up with about a million LaNouba's and some Comedy thing. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

If I knew of the specific venue in the Orlando area I could look that up to find what is touring there. I found some stuff searching Orlando area, but I wasn't sure if what I was getting was REAL Broadway Touring Productions. I don't want any local productions, I want a real touring production.

Of what show? I have no idea. Shhhhhhh, I'm looking to purchase a Christmas present for my DD, and I know there are some shows she would enjoy. I just don't know what shows will be there (wherever there is) after Christmas.

Of course the alternative would be a plane ticket to New York and we could go pick and choose between the different discounts available and I would get to go too.

Rosebud,
The touring companies such as Broadway Across America perform at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center. Typically though, they get better shows at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center which is only about an hour and 15 minutes away.

Oh...and I saw Val yesterday at costuming. She seemed very happy with her new role.

Thanks Pam. I was thinking the possibility of Tampa. I'll look up both and see what is in the works. And don't forget shhhhhhh, if you see Val.

That is cool you saw her at costuming. Did you change jobs? I didn't think you would have to go to costuming for your job. So far she does seem happy with the new role, with the exception of the early hours she has had so far.

I haven't changed jobs but with the apartment situation around here I need to pick up extra hours to supplement the paycheck. I try to go out to the parks for the extra hours in order to keep an eye on what is happening out there.

Oh. My friend that has been working there for years and now works in Shared Business Services does that sometimes too. Usually only in the cooler months though, or if she can get an inside shift somewhere.
