DD hotel change

I was just reading at Biddingfortravel.com and saw a post about the Courtyard Marriott at DD. They said the hotel would change to Holiday Inn in the Walt Disney Resort on 12/18.

I got the Courtyard at DD for one night 12/27 thru priceline..I hope I don't have a problem!

Since I had previously only seen this info on the biddingfortravel site, I just did a search on Holiday Inn to make sure it was really listed. Sure enough it comes up at Hotel Plaza Blvd, and couldn't find a Marriott listed on on the Blvd so I guess it really did change.

Anyhow, I would bet they just transferred existing reservations. Personally I would call Priceline to confirm the reservation and then call the Holiday Inn to also confirm it.

That could be real confusing to people that have never been there, when you make reservations through one hotel and find another hotel when you arrive. I have called hotel #'s before thinking I was getting one brand only to find out it had switched, but had the same number, but never having a reservation and showing up to find that out. Hopefully they have some kind of sign outside so you can tell the hotels have switched brands.
