Jungle Cruise

Disney isn't elaborating too much but plans are reportedly in the works to turn the Jungle Cruise into a Blockbuster at the theatre according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The studio would like to see an Action Adventure screenplay based on the popular ride. Disney isn't saying much other than the story will take place in the 20th Century.

I would hope that they will be very very careful in considering this. They lucked out with Pirates because of Johnny Depp's inspired performance. Haunted Mansion had a bankable star in Eddie Murphy and the thing tanked completely. And, arguably, the worst Disney movie of all time is Country Bears.

I wish them luck, but . . . . . .
