Just a suggestion for new members - an acronym list may be a great feature. When I first started I was a bit lost trying to figure out what everyone was talking about. I was able to catch on but every once in awhile I get a stumper. It does get easy for those familar with Disney but those not so familar may be lost.
We will leave no Disney lover behind!!! :mickeyHalloween:
Examples:
CBR = Caribbean Beach Resort
MK = Magic Kingdom
YC/BC = Yacht Club/BeachClub

Boy! I thought we had one; hopefully someone else will find it because I can't. Best I could do was find this old thread...

There is an abbreviations list under Community Links in the wide blue bar at the top of the page.

Collette has it right! :yes: That is where you will find a link to the Abbreviations page (http://tagrel.com/forum/abbrv.html)

Community Links scrolls of the right side of my window. I didn't even notice it was there. :doh:(How odd, none of those windows are currently popping up for me.).

Robin, that happens to me at work. Turn off your pop up blocker for this site.

I have turned off my popup blocker 16 times for this site and it still won't do popups. Good old IE...

I double checked, and I don't use the IE popup blocker on this site. I used the Google one, but it is off for this site. I get the PM popups fine.
It's a quirk. :lol:

The brown menu on the home page works fine for me, but the blue is still qlitchy on IE.
I was able to get the menus to open on Foxfire, though Community links was way to the right.
Back to the abbreviation list, maybe it's time we checked it over for an update.
It has EE as Early Entry, but isn't EE now Expedition Everest?
We could also use, DDP for Disney Dining Plan.
ADR replaces the former PS.
Here's a topic we haven't tackled lately. ;)

The blue menus are part of VBulletin. I've never seen the issues you guys are talking about... Do you have javascript turned off maybe? Works fine in FireFox, and I haven't had a problem with them in IE either.... :confused:
As to our abbreviations list, an update IS in order. That thing hasn't changed in years! Start a running list here and I'll get it updated soon! :yes:
ETA - ah! I see the problem... Your comment that Community Links went off the page let me try that.
You must run a smaller browser screen size or a lower screen resolution. Seems that in IE - if Community links runs off the page then NONE of the dropdown menus work. How annoying is that! :(

I do have javascript turned off at work.
But I also do have Community Links off the page because I use IE there. Better adjust that. :D Thanks, Tag.

OK - I have added Robin's updates. Any others? C'mon - we must have missed something else! :peri:
A data point Tag, I don't have a problem with Safari on the page. All the drop downs come up just fine. As for abbreviations (why is that such a long word?????) will have to scrub the list, but I think it's pretty complete.

Looks like you tweaked the layout Dave. (Maybe it was the 9/11 tribute.) The drop downs are working for me again.
I do have my window sized small...these eyes are getting old. :lol:

I see it now. I was looking at the wrong blue bar!
