I surprised my husband with this for his Christmas present. I have two words to describe the experience - IT ROCKS!
Yes, it was expensive. (breathtakingly expensive)
Yes, it was brief. (seemed like 30 seconds)
Yes, I spent WAY too much on pictures afterwards (Shades of Delswife)
Yes, it was worth it. (While getting ready for bed that evening, my ski fanatic spouse looked at me in the mirror and said "This was the best day ever! Better than the best day skiing." ) Oh, yeah, it was worth EVERY PENNY!

Thats great to know. I love to hear all about others expeiences with things like this, especially when it is expensive and your not sure about it. Now, I'll look further into this for our next trip. Thanks and I loved the picture.

The great thing about Discovery Cove is the fact that only 1000 people are allowed in the park per day, so it is never crowded.
The Dolphin show is fantastic, and the food is even good.

I would just love to go to Discovery Cove...
Since I require an ECV for on land mobility, I just do not think that I would be able to do as much as I would want to....
I am really thrilled that you and your dh had such a marvelous time! It sounds like you made some very special memories....
Take care.

We did Discovery Cove also in December, a few years ago. I have to say it was the most fun day I have ever had in my life. All the way back I just kept saying, "Wow!"
Dee, if you have good mobility in the water, this would be a wonderful experience! Your son is a great age for this park. Plus I'd love to get a review of Discovery Cove from an accessibility standpoint.

My Hubby And I were contimplating giving up a few nights at the WDW resorts so we could do this experience it looks wonderful! I would love to do it . Our only problem would be we are taking a 2 1/2 yr old w/us what does he do when we are in w/the Dolphins or do they have like a parent swap thing. He can do everything else. Any Thoughts?
