I've been using Mypoints for several years. I've always found them to be very easy and I've gotten several Rainforest Cafe cards and Bath and Body works gift cards just from clicking on emails.
I also do Consumer Opinion Surveys. I've gotten several checks for doing surveys, although none in about 6 months. :( I just don't seem to qualify for the survey they need.
I just recently signed up with Sunshine rewards that can be cashed out into your paypal account of Disney Dollars.
What rewards programs do you use? Are they easy to earn? Do they pay out like they promise?

Cheri,
I also do the MyPoints and have gotten many gift cards including two for Rainforest Cafe, and a few for Target.
The only other rewards I do is NFO for surveys, and I am close to getting $40 that I will use for Mousefest. WOOHOO!!

I just do My Points. I have gotten 5 Rainforest/Landry's gift cards. I do try to shop through My Points when I shop the internet, so the points do add up pretty fast. It usually only takes about 2 weeks for me to have the giftcards in my hands. I signed up for NFO but never got anything.

Gee, I'm really in the dark about these programs. How do they work and how to sign uo, please?
Thanks!

I use the rebate card from AMEX. Once you qualify, they give 5% rebate on grocery store and gas station purchases. I try to charge as much as possible on it and we are pretty good about paying it off every month. We usually get enough back to pay for our DVC maintenance fees...almost, lol.

These all sound great, I have never gotten any rebates from the credit cards I have, one was for GM cars and the program ended before I needed a car. LOL

Without buying anything, doens't it take forever to get a gift card from Mypoints? Seems I tried this awhile back and quit for some reason...

I have a Visa and American Express card through Hilton Hotels and their Hilton Honors program. We get 2 points for every dollar spent on the Visa and 3 points with the AmEx. We put everything we can on each card - and pay each of them off in full each month. We used to get several thousand more points each month from DH's business expenses until the company got everyone a company sponsored card - now NO points for that one!
Anyway, for 95K points you can get a 4-day MYW PHP w/no expiry and, I think, 3 options. We just got 2 of these and will trade them in/up for AP's next time we go. We've also used points for free rental cars and free hotel stays.
We belong to most everyone's hotel points programs, too. At the Radisson and Comfort Inn & Suites they participate in the GoldPoints program. You can get GoldPoints at several retailers and online if you buy through the website.
We used to be able to trade in several of our airline miles for hotel points, and those really added up toward WDW tickets. Now, it's hard to find anything to use miles for. It's next to impossible to use them for a flight reward unless you're going to Timbucktoo in the dead of winter! You can use your hotel points for mileage still, but not vice-versa. Makes sense - NOT!!! We have traded in some mileage for free magazines, but the selection is not very large.

Sharon- I've gotten 2 $25 gift cards for Rainforest cafe from mypoints and very rarely shop online (Disney store and Oriental Traders is about it). I think I'm about ready for a third gift card too!
I also do NFO and another survey (I think it's Consumer Opinion) and have gotten $10.00, from them.

I have my Disney Card of course and an AMEX Blue rewards (no fee) that I get LandsEnd certs every now and then from. This year I got a $100 one and did a bunch of school shopping with it. Also use the Discover card cash back and try to maximize those rewards - they recently gave 5% back on gas, currently giving 5% back at Staples, Dell, Kohls, etc. And then when I cash it in, I don't get cash, I get a $50 LL Bean cert for $40 instead. I figure I'm going to spend the money at LLBean anyway. Some of the Discover vendors will double the rewards, but none yet that I'm going to shop at anyway.
I also do the surveys and have gotten a few $4 checks and am building one (can't remember which) up to about $30 back now (Consumer Opinion maybe? No, that's the one I get the $4 from...maybe NFO??)
Tried MyPoints without much luck. Should try again.
I don't fly enough for frequent flyer mile programs to pay off. My brother does for work and once in a while we get some of his left over miles. His whole family (5 of them)flew to Hawaii from Boston on flyer miles last spring. But of course the trade off there is that he is gone for work a lot.

I do MyPoints and have gotten several gift cards from them. I rarely shop through there so it takes a while to accumulate the points. I participated in one of those survey sites for a while but it never amounted to much so I stopped that.
We have a MasterCard that gives cash back so it's nice to collect those checks every few months. And my Disney Visa provides a few rewards along the way too.

Mypoints works by reading emails, answering questionairs, and shopping. It does take a while for me to get enough points for a gift card since I really don't do alot of shopping online. But, for a few minutes out of my day, I consider it free money. I usually have one gift card a year. Pretty easy for doing nothing.
SunshineRewards works by clicking on links, reading emails, and shopping. Each click puts a penny or two into your account. When you get to $20 you can cash out to your paypal account or get Disney Dollars. I've just started this one and i can tell it will take a while.
Really and truly for a couple of minutes out of your day, to me, it's worth it.

;) I use my points as well. My longest time rewards card is American Airlines. We have had many free trips from that. We also use the Holiday Inn card for travel when driving and the American Express that gives you free points for dining by giving you $$$ to use at Costco. I put almost everything I buy on one of these and pay the bill in full each month. No interest and lots of freebies..:) :) :) ;)

This thread reminded me it must be time to cash in on some of those reward programs. So now I have a gift card coming from Panera Bread (My Points), Disney Reward card (Disney Visa) and $$$ (Mastercard cash rewards). I love to get those in the mail!

I use my Citibank Diamond Preferred Rewards Mastercard for almost everything to get Thank You Reward points. There's a lot of things I can turn the points in for, but we've only used them for round trip air to MCO and back. I get 1 point / dollar for everything and 2 points for gas & groceries and more points for purchases from preferred Thank You vendors. The round trip "costs" 25,000 points and for our last trip the airfare was free for all three of us. Currently I've got over 54,000 points so I don't anticipate having any problem getting the additional 21,000 points so that our upcoming July trip's airfare will be free too.
