stayed on Deck 8? It looks like our room will be there and I've noticed Deck 9 (above) is busy with activities. Any noise problems? Also, we have a 12 year old, will turn 13 in Oct., so she has to go in the 10-12 group at the kids club. She's upset about this, saying it's too "babyish" for her. I personally feel that the teen group is a bit too old. I don't feel comfortable with her hanging around with 17 year olds. As I said she has no choice, she's not old enough for the teen group anyway, but has anyone had any 12 year olds that felt it was too "babyish" for them? Thanks! Judy

Deck 8 has the best level of accommodations. I very much doubt that noise will be an issue.

On a similar vein to your problem, my DD was two months shy of turning 18 when she cruised with us, and she didn't want to go Common Grounds. She thought the other teens would be too young. :roll:

She ended up hanging out with DH and I. Surprsingly, she had such a great time that we're taking her on another cruise in August. :D

We stayed on Deck 8 in February and it was very, very quiet. Only once did we hear any noise at all. The convenience was wonderful, as we loved having the spa/fitness rooms right above us.

I agree with DVCreg, since they have the suites on this level, I am sure they were sure it would be quiet. We were right next to the Roy Disney suite and got a peek inside. Unbelievable! That's the closest I will ever get to it though, lol.

We'll have the same room as you did! Rm. 8528? That's right next to the Roy Disney suite. I'm glad to hear there is no noise. I figured as you, if the Disney suites are there, and people are paying more for them, there shouldn't be much noise. We're hoping too that we can get a peek of the Disney suite, as that's the closest we'll ever get. I wonder how much that suite is? Thanks for the info. Judy

Yes, that was our room number! Small, small world. We had an absolutely wonderful time and the position of the room was ideal. 11 months until my next one!
