I live here in So Cal and I have a premium pass...the park is MINE...muah ha ha ha. hehe:p Anyways, is anyone planning a meet out here anytime soon? I'll be at WDW in December, but unitl then, I must continue to get my Disney fix and I was wondering if anyone would be out this way.

We were just there Alyssa, Aug 1-2. Had a great time, as you can only have at DL! And living in San Berdu, you only need hop on the 91 for a short trip to get your Disney fix. Oh to live that close again!

I feel like I've been living there lately...oh what a wonderful feeling!! :D This is my first time in YEARS not having a pass - I was crazy not to! My premium pass has already more than paid for itself and I haven't had it that long. My birthday is coming up on the 16th, so I think that's another excuse to disappear for a day!

You have enough time, be sure to see all the things that DL and CA have that aren't at WDW; then you HAVE to see:
PoC
ToT
Small World (yes, it's worth enduring the song for this one)
Space Mountain

These are all different from those at WDW and should be experienced. Two full days will give you time to do most of them, three would do it for sure. And then you will have time for the other attractions you want to see in SoCal.
HTH and ask away if we can help

Here's the itinerary:

Saturday - Block @ Orange
Sunday - KBF, Camp Snoopy Halloween Treat Hunt
Monday - Disneyland (either breakfast or dinner @ Goofy's Kitchen DLH)
Tuesday - SeaWorld (lunch w/ Shamu)
Wednesday - Disney Cali Adventure (lunch @ Ariel's Grotto)
Thursday - Universal Studios
Friday - DL/DCA (Lilo & Stitch's Aloha Breakfast PPH)
Saturday - depart

After reading up on it Blue Bayou sounds like a can't miss but I cant decide when to fit it in
Maybe Friday night as a last hurrah?

Really want to do Alcatraz Brewing Co. @ B/@/O - but I know I'm going to have to drag my dd away from Dave & Busters - any other suggestions for B/@/O (http://tagrel.com/forum/)?

really leaning toward breakfast @ Goofy's Kitchen so wont have to worry about making a PS while touring the park
Anyone who has been to both which do you prefer?

last question - (for now!) any dining suggestions @ Univ?

We did not get a chance to do the breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen, but I did go by it getting coffee (real coffee at this resort!!!!!) and it looked like a lot of fun. We will have to do it the next time we stay at the DL, and rest assured, we will. While I have been a very strong advocate for the Blue Bayou in the past, something this trip just didn't get it done for us. Might have been the 45 minute wait to be seated, even with a PS. While we did get a seat by the water, I did not request it so that wasn't the reason for the delay. They were just terribly busy, and there really isn't a place to hang out there for that long. There were folks sitting on the floor, on the stairs leading to the dining area, anywhere they could plop. All in all, not one of our best experiences there. That said, we will try it again as it is such a great place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere.
