UPDATED on Post #6 My Chair/stool/table SOLD!!

I had my chair and photo album in a local store selling it on consignment - $300.00 for the chair/stool/table of which the owner got 30% and the photo album was $10.00.

I had thought when Tramp drove the furniture down to the store he gave our telephone number etc. - he thought I had. In the past few weeks I've been wondering if it had sold. Today Scamp and I were driving by the shop earlier so we stopped in - ALL MY ARTWORK SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The chair/stool/table sold the first week in June - was only in the store for about two months and the photo album sold yesterday (timing is everything lol) maybe that's why I didn't go yesterday at lunch time :lol:

It's such a cool feeling having my artwork sold and on someone's deck or by their pool : ) Here are the photos of what sold : )
I have another chair/stool/table that I did in blues/greens with shark holding a Corona - I've been in touch with shops on the coast and think I'm going to drive it to the beach and sell it in those shops instead of the country ;)

I went back and edited the chair photo - it came out too dark
now its just a bit too light - but looks somewhat better : )

After the holidays I'll take the Shark Chair over to the coast
going to make another with a big Parrot in Flight on the back rest : )

Here's the Shark Chair/stool - the table is the same blues/greens with sharks swimming all over it : ) Please excuse the deck - since the photo it was restained a gray diftwood color ;) I think I'll ask $350.00 for this one over on the coast! Here's hoping!!! The sharks on the arm rests are just as black as the main shark but didn't come out that black in the photo - one banner states - Fins to the Left - the other - Fins to the Right. The sharks have leis around their necks. There is a lost shaker of salt on the seat (that's why you can't find it - You're sitting on it!! LOL) - Tramp's idea.

Both chair sets are absolutely great, so much fun. I have been redecorating my bedroom in a tropical theme. I painted all the odds and ends pieces of furniture I had with white latex enamel paint and then used my acrylic paints to do some pretty tropical flower designs on them. Then I did a final coat of polyurethane to seal them. Hopefully they will hold up well, they turned out really pretty I think. Anyway I would love to do some furniture for our balcony like what you did. So enquiring minds would like to know, what kind of paints did you use and did you use anything to protect against the weather as a final coat?
