The first two pictures were taken for a fast-food restaurant and a hotel cafe, the one in the middle (rice burger) taken for a Japanese restaurant, and the bottom one as a sample picture for a prospective client, so I deliberately choose a less-than-perfect chocolate so she can't just use it for her website.

Wait a minute! That is stretching the truth more than a bit!! Ursulinda does not look just like her avatar - she's much prettier and svelte

DUDE! Do you really want to be responsible for drool damage to my keyboard? (BTW my theory on FLSharon's keyboard is that it is drool damage from MargaretJ's food photos).

I absolutely love, love, love cheesecake!!! Did you get to eat that too?? Great, it's 12:30 am and I have no cheescake in the house.
Note to self: Keep cheesecake in the deep freeze for moments like these!!!

no I didn't get to eat the cheesecake. The cheesecake is a mock up made of plastic.

plastic can be quite satisfying, you just have to microwave it till it's nice and chewy:D

I don't know about chewy, but for sure it melts in your mouth (and burn your pie hole while you're eating it) :p
Jann1033 takes great pictures too. Most of my food pictures don't come out great, they only come out okay because I'm being paid to do so. I care more about the food than the picture... at least in this case.

Jann, the utter most important thing being a photographer is to have a thick skin
This way you'll have no shame squatting at the corner of a room, laying down on the ground, circling your food to get the best angle and natural lighting etc.
<---- see my pic :D
