Take out the Disney radio station at disneyland

this what I hear is that Disneyland will take the space and turn it into a store. Type of store I do not know:confused:

I reminds me of another thing I found unique about Disneyland. When I was there last May (not this past May) they had a band performing in an open area of Tommorrowland during the evening creating a party time atmosphere. Another cultural difference between DL and WDW.

That has been there for a long time Robin, and is really kind of a cool thing to groove to in the evenings. We had breakfast there on our last visit, and there was a DJ playing tunes from his iPod. Fun times! It is one of the neat differences between DL and the MK that we enjoy.

They've had lots of bands play in Tomorrowland on that stage. I think there was a band called Sandbox or something like that and the guitarist is actor Dean Cain's brother. I have photos.

Who has seen the big bands play over by the castle? There's an older couple who dances every Saturday in matching outfits.

I love those swing Saturdays at DL Some great oufits - many older couples, and some very good dancers.

My Mom and Dad used to hang out there every time we went to DL. As the evening wore on, we always knew we could find them over listening to the Big Band sounds and we could get an ice cream as we wrapped up the day.

Sad that the stage is gone. Spent many hours when my kids were teens enjoying the live bands there...one band was there every summer visit for a few years - wish I could recall the name.

Sometimes we 'adults' would wander over to hear the Big Band music.

No doubt about, DL is special and has a unique charm that WDW will never be able to reproduce.

The Stage still there , Only have new top on it.
top look like in the pass before Disneyland put on buzz lightyear sfuff on it.
Now you will see in day time Jedi training academy
A jedi Master will train randomly-selected childred in the way of the force, show them how to use the lightsabers and prepare them to dule against a Star Wars villain.

Now if you want big band musics you can go to Plaza gardens stage, Not all the time.

It still amazes the variety of attractions that have been squeezed into Disneyland.
