When we fly to WDW we rent at the airport and turn in at the Dolphin. Does one of the DL resorts have a rental car desk? Or would it be easier to get ground transfers and if so any recomendations? One last one. Which airport do you fly into? I looked and it seems like flying into John Wayne would be easier than LAX if we were to drive ourselves. All opinions welcome.

I have only flown into LAX because its always so much cheaper for me. We used SuperShuttle twice and had pretty good service. You dont even have to reserve them to the hotel but you do have to reserve back to the airport. http://www.supershuttle.com/

I have heard people say fly into John Wayne and I think its a bit closer too. They have so many freeways in California. I dont know your car rental question exactly. I do remmebr seeing a hotel outside of Disneyland with car rentals so I assume it must be pretty regualr around there. Ill just bet on of hte Disney hotels have rentals. Its all more compacted together in California compared to Florida.

Hey Pasha, we had the same problem when we went last year. I know that John Wayne is closer, but I hear the flights cost a lot more. We wound up calling the GC concierge and they recommended a town car service for us. I forget the name, but I will see if I can find it. The driver they sent us, wound up being the highlight of our trip. He was soo cool and took us around LA, showing us the sites. It was a great time.

I will go see if I can find the name for ya

We also used Super Shuttle in August and had no problems at all. I flew into LAX for that trip. If you are considering getting a rental car to get to your hotel you may also want to check fares into Ontario airport. Flying from here (New Orleans) to Ontario was cheaper than LAX but I went with LAX as I was meeting a friend who flew in from St. Louis at the airport and LAX was cheaper for her to fly into.

Ontario is only about half an hour from Anaheim, and I love that airport! Much nicer and easier to manage than LAX, and the check-in lines are much shorter, too.
