Okay guys, I know what the emoticons mean since they tell you when you pass over them.
BUT.......what do the Message Icons Mean? They don't tell you.
I don't want to use one that says I'm mad when I think it means sad.
I pass over them but they don't tell me. Why aren't they "talking" to me?

The posticons aren't talking to you because they are numbered in the software as a standard feature rather than added by Tag like the emoticons are. You don't see a script with them since they are in numerical sequence as a gif. Eyeballing them is the only way you can tell what they are. I would say Mr. Angry would be the one on the top right corner. Mr. Green is always my favorite so I put him in this reply.

Well, since C is asking this question, what are the lightbulbs nest to your stage name and why are some white and some green?
Debby, not always the brightest bulb in the bunch.

HC, it the light bulb is green, it means that the person is online here at Tagrel.com. It white, it means, they are offline.
With the exception of admins, theirs is red if they are online
And mods, theirs is yellow if online.

Hey Tag!
I think these are like standard icons used on message boards to alert the membership as to the nature of the post, The "save" icon is for important info they might want to save. The globe I've seen used for travel info or location info. The asterisk is meant as a PS, but I've seen it rarely used. Most people consider it a head scratcher. The CD and musical note alerts as to a wav file or mpg.
Even though these have standard usages, these never have to be used as standard icons. They can be just another way to individualize our posts and to add color to the subject line. You are all artists out there! Let your muses speak to you with your posticons!
