Just spoke to a CM who told me that they were just informed that Dining with a Disney Animator has now been discontinued until further notice. :(

When asked about Dining with a Disney Imagineer, they are still taking reservations until December 19th, however; it is doubtful that they will have any dining opportunities during the holiday. :( :P :(

What a bummer . . . I was planning on booking one for my husband's birthday. Now to find a back-up plan.

That is a bummer. I'll bet it has to do with the announced suspension of activities at the Orlando animation unit. They probably can't find any animators who want to chat up tourists :(

How sad. This was one of the highlights of a trip in January. I was so hoping that others could experience it, too. I'm hoping they rethink the cutback of the animation studio at MGM. That produced Mulan and Lilo and Stitch, two of the newer classics. The animation tour is also closed at the moment.

Things are not peachy these days in MGM. Last year Hunchback was taken away, this year Residential Street was removed, the Osbourne lights were cancelled for Christmas, now a bunch of animators are being let go in January...not a happy park.

Good points, Mike and Moley. Who's in charge of that park? Maybe we can invite him or her to a chat and explain what's important and what isn't!
