Meeting People at MCO

I am meeting friends at MCO and, as is typical, their airline (Southwest) and mine (Song/Delta) appear to be as far away as possible from each other at MCO. Thankfully, my flight is due in about a half hour before theirs. So, I should have plenty of time to pickup my luggage and get over to their side of the airport.

Approximately how long do you think it should take to walk from the Delta luggage turnstile to the Southwest baggage turnstile?

Trixy, worst case would be your baggage at one end of the terminal and your friends' on the opposite sied and also at the other end. In that case, it might take you 5 minutes to get accross.

Delta and Soutwest are right across each other.
After getting your luggage you can either use the escalator or elevator back to the 3rd floor, cross the hall and again go down to the second floor on the A side (delta is B). It takes 2 minutes tops...

Thanks very much! I didn't think it should take too long, but I've been in a couple of huge airports that a 20 minute walk is considered a short walk.
